About Pastor Kevin




Pastor Kevin has been working in various ministries, full or part-time for almost fourteen years. The first seven years were dedicated to youth ministry. He then served two years as a full-time military chaplain, focusing on church planting and serving our men and women in the military. He has spent the last four years as the Senior Pastor at St. Francis United Methodist Church. Pastor Kevin graduated from Luther Seminary in 2016.
Pastor Kevin lives with his wife, Sara, and their three beautiful children: Kennedy (7), Madison (5), and Lincoln (3).
 Pastor Kevin is the Chaplain for the 2-147th (AHB) Assault Helicopter Battalion. Chaplain Coder has been in the National Guard for 19 years, enlisting in 1999 as a Mental Health Specialist. He was deployed with Taskforce Falcon to Kosovo from 2004 to 2005. When he returned from home from deployment, he enrolled in Officer Candidate School, graduating in 2008. In 2017, Chaplain Kevin accessioned as a Chaplain and was promoted to a Captain.
